Steph Milne (Founder, Coach & Mentor)

Hello I am Steph, and I live with my husband and two gorgeous children! We also have a fox red Labrador called Ruby who is lots of fun! I am sociable and enjoy spending time with friends & family, going for long walks, drinking hot chocolate and doing a puzzle on cosy winter nights!

I found Jesus over six years ago after having both the children; wondering if there was more to life than this. After attending a local church toddler group I started to ask questions! Six years later, I find myself totally devoted to God, desiring all He wants for my life. I have continually grown in the revelation of how much He loves me and have witnessed the miracles and power He brings over my life and the lives of others around me.

My passion is to share Jesus, I am still on a journey but He has set me free from insecurity, people pleasing, perfectionism and a life of striving and trying to be in control. And if He can bring me this freedom, I know He can do the same for you too!

I also run a part time nails business which God has used for me to share the gospel, minister to women one on one and support them in prayer. God called me to Bible College in 2024 and through that I continue to delve deeper into the Word. I have spent the last few years leading women's groups, discovering together what God's Word says about every day life, challenges and wrong thinking. I have seen amazing positive change as we press into Jesus, all glory to God! I have since completed a Christian coaching course and God has opened the door to expand the time I have to offer more personalised coaching sessions. My passion is to see women flourish as they grow in their revelation of God's love for them, and help them feel secure and confident as they discover their identity and purpose. I want to see as many people as possible step into all that God has for them in this life!

Abi Elshaw (Coach & Mentor)

Hello! My name is Abi, and I am really blessed to be a part of Sacred Steps Ministry! It’s an honour to serve women who want to deepen their walk with the Lord. I have been walking my own faith journey for more than 40 years. I am so thankful to Jesus for all he has done for me in that time. I came to faith as a child and to this day, I can say it was THE best decision I have ever made!

I live with my husband John in my childhood home as we help take care of my parents. Life has its challenges, of course, but there is so much to be thankful for! Here in the south of England, there are beautiful spaces to walk and run (which I try to do a few times a week), and if I am not feeling energetic, then I love to sit and read, write, watch movies or have coffee with some of the amazing women God has brought into my life. I also love to worship, so I can be found playing my keyboard and singing my heart out! Occasionally, if I am feeling especially creative, I might even paint (although I am not good at that).

I struggled with people-pleasing, financial lack, and I battled with an emotional rollercoaster during the first seven years of married life, never seeming to get to a place of stability (if you want to know more, you can find my book on Amazon).

In 2004, God took us to Colorado, USA, where we went through Bible College, and though I had been a Christian since I was 6, that time grounded me in God’s Word and radically changed my perception of who God is and who I am in Him! For the first time ever, I found freedom from letting my emotions rule!

From there, John and I worked for the same ministry for more than a decade – teaching, leading worship, running youth camps, and taking mission trips all over the world, sharing the good news that God loves you and wants good things for you!

Today, I am excited to be able to encourage you in your faith, as my passion is to see women equipped to not just make it through life, but to thrive as they learn to walk it out with Jesus!
